Buying a whole chicken and Cutting it up is much better rather if you buy it in pieces, is cheaper and is not as difficult as it seems, it hardly takes 5 minutes.
With a whole chicken you can make a stock with the carcasses, and use the rest of it for a chicken stew, roast chicken…

METHOD:
  • Use a boneless knife or similar.
  • Take out first the legs, check where the join is and cut through there, don’t cut the bone, you shouldn’t have to make a lot of effort.
  • If you want you can separate the leg quarter, cut through the join in the middle and you will have the drumstick and the thigh.
  • To take out the breast, cut through the middle of the chicken following the bone, take out one breast and then the other breast in the same way, you will take out the wings in the same time.
  • Then separate the wings and the breast, just look for the join and cut through there.

Now you have all separate!
